Claim Owner's Greeting
Welcome to Biddeford Maine. We moved here in 1975 to be close to the ocean and raise our family out of the hustle and bustle of megalapolis. As our family has grown and changed so has Biddeford. We expected to stay here for five years. That was thirty two years ago.
A Little Bit About Life in My Town
Starting with the arts, an exciting scene is developing. Artists from all over Maine have been quietly moving in to lofts and studios, transforming the old mill buildings. Recently galleries and cafes have been popping up with music, art openings, celebrations, impromptu gatherings, poetry readings and community events. A historic and beautifully restored City Theater provides a home for a local community theater as well as a variety of performing artists.
Stay tuned for more information about this best kept secret on the coast of Southern Maine.

The frames are construscted from branches and canvas is stretched over them. They become sculptural. Sometimes both sides are painted and they become scuplture in the round. I'm glad you like them. They are time consuming to create. It isn't snowing but there is plenty on the ground. Sparkling and cold!

The artwork you added to your page is absolutely stunning! I'm fascinated that these pieces appear to be done on different materials (like wood?), and not traditional canvas. I got a good look at the "9/11 Seeds of Reverence" by clicking on the image. To my surprise, it showed it in a larger size. Who knew? Still snowed in up there?
