If you thought Maryland had nothing but liberals, you would be WRONG!

And, since I OWN THIS TOWN, I get to speak for it... so to speak.

A Little Bit About Life in My Town
If you came here to read about all the great sailing, fishing, historical buildings, and other attractions in the Annapolis area, well... maybe I'll do that with the other Zip code I own. Right now, we have important things to talk about... LIKE WHY BARACK OBAMA should NEVER be President of the United States. Come on now people.... THIS IS SERIOUS and our precious right to vote should not be taken lightly.

I firmly believe that anyone who is thinking about voting for BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA is NOT THINKING AT ALL!

Lets start with this just for fun......

While suturing a cut on the hand of a 75 year old Texas rancher, whose hand was caught in a gate while working cattle, the doctor struck up a conversation with the old man. Eventually the topic got around to Obama and his bid to be our President.

The old rancher said,
'Well, ya know, Obama is a post turtle'. Not being familiar with the term, the doctor asked him what a 'post turtle' was. The old rancher said, 'When you're driving down a country road and you come across a fence post with a turtle balanced on top, that's a 'post turtle'.

The old rancher saw a puzzled look on the doctor's face, so he continued to explain.
'You know he didn't get up there by himself, he doesn't belong up there, he doesn't know what to do while he is up there, and you just wonder what kind of a dumb ass put him up there.'

Now this, which helps explain how the post turtle in question got to where he is today.

Now for the really, really important stuff....

The media wants Barack Obama to be President so badly, that they are NOT TELLING US who he really is, or what he has really done!

Barack Obama is SO DIRTY in this CURRENT FINANCIAL CRISIS.. its AMAZING! What is even more amazing is how a guy who hasn't been in public office long enough to find the bathroom, has managed to screw things up so badly! Imagine what he could do with more time and authority!

The video link below was sent to me by a long time friend, and Economics professor who usually has a more liberal bent to his thinking. However he is one heck of an economics mind... studied @ London School of Economics, and later with Paul Samuelson @ MIT. He sent it to his sphere with a simple statement for us to view with an open mind... he had checked the content & sources and they made the grade, so to speak.

I have found the content of the video to be TOTALLY accurate. factually and historically, and validates every point of the emails I sent out to friends; documented thoroughly as well as visually. As a fiscal conservative, I find all this socialism and nationalism or the private sector very, very scary and cringe with amazement when I hear that our current economic challenges are all a result of the failed strategies of the current administration for the last 8 years. As much as I am not a raving fan for President Bush, this is a totally FALSE allegation and would like to hear your opinion after you watch .

And, are we really going to reward the Democrats for getting us into this mess by handing them control of BOTH HOUSES OF CONGRESS AND THE PRESIDENCY? What am I talking about?

And what about OBAMAmomics. He says "95% of Americans are going to get a tax cut under his plan", but only 40% of working Americans currently PAY FEDERAL TAXES! Huh? So to get to 95%, you have to PAY people who are not paying taxes... that is called WELFARE, or as he told Joe The Plumber" .. he believes in "spreading the wealth around".

As someone that majored in Economics, it's sometimes difficult for me to give good illustrations of how income re-distribution... wealthy to "needy", via taxes, works in the real "free" enterprise world. I think this does pretty well; John Maynard Keynes & Paul Samuelson would approve or the explanation, I KNOW Ayn Rand and John Galt would!!

Suppose that every day, ten men go out for beer and the bill for all ten comes to $100. They could all just pay $10 since they all drank beer or if they paid their bill the way we pay our taxes, it would go something like this:

The first four men (the poorest of the 10) would pay nothing.
The fifth would pay $1.
The sixth would pay $3.
The seventh would pay $7.
The eighth would pay $12.
The ninth would pay $18.
The tenth man (the richest) would pay $59.

So, that's what they decided to do.

The ten men drank in the bar every day and seemed OK with the arrangement, until one day, the owner threw them a curve.

"Since you are all such good and faithful customers," he said, "I'm going to reduce the cost of your daily beer bill by $20. Drinks for the ten now cost just $80."

The group still wanted to pay their bill the way we pay our taxes, so the first four men were unaffected. They would still drink for free.

But what about the other six men - the paying customers? How could they divide the $20 windfall so that everyone would get his "fair share?"

They realized if they divided the $20 savings by six they could each reduce the amount they were paying by $3.33. But if they subtracted that from everybody's share, then the fifth man and the sixth man would each end up being paid to drink his beer.

So, the bar owner suggested that it would be fair to reduce each man's bill the same way Tax Savings are dispersed, and he proceeded to work out the amounts each should pay --

And so:
The fifth man, like the first four, now paid nothing (100% savings) - so 5 men are drinking for free..
The sixth now paid only $2 instead of $3 (33%savings).
The seventh now pay $5 instead of $7 (28%savings).
The eighth now paid $9 instead of $12 (25% savings).
The ninth now paid $14 instead of $18 (22% savings).
The tenth(the wealthiest) now paid $49 instead of $59 (16% savings).

Each of the six was better off than before. And the first four continued to drink for free, now along with the 5th too. But once outside the restaurant, the men began to compare their total dollar savings. "I only got a dollar out of the $20" declared the sixth man. He pointed to the tenth man : "but he got $10!'"

"Yeah, that's right," exclaimed the fifth man. "I only saved a dollar, too. It's unfair that he got ten times more than I!"

"That's true!!'"shouted the seventh man."Why should he get $10 back when I got only two? The wealthy get all the breaks!'

'"Wait a minute," yelled the first four men in unison. "$20 was given back and we didn't get anything at all. This system exploits the poor!"

The nine men surrounded the tenth and beat him up.The next night the tenth man didn't show up for drinks, so the nine sat down and had beers without him. But when it came time to pay the bill, they discovered something important. They didn't have enough money between all of them for even half of the bill!

And that, ladies and gentlemen, journalists and college professors, is how our tax system works. The people who pay the highest taxes get the most benefit from a tax reduction. Tax them too much, attack them for being wealthy, and they just may not show up anymore. In fact, they might start drinking overseas where the atmosphere is somewhat friendlier.

For those who understand, no explanation is needed. For those who do not understand, no explanation is possible (suggest that you read Atlas Shrugged for a better view).
